The Heritage Committee is the custodian of an impressive collection of historic Girl Scout memorabilia including uniforms, handbooks, badges, pins, photos, marketing materials, and so much more! This collection is one of the key ways the Heritage Committee preserves and presents the history of Scouting in Southern California through displays, presentations, and events.
We’re currently in the process of organizing the collection with an eye towards digitization. In the meantime, please take a look at Hometown Heroes: Girl Scouts of the Crescenta Valley, a Gold Award project by Annie Brundige who digitized a selection of unique Girl Scout scrapbooks.
